WHAT WILL YOU DO
You will have the opportunity to visit our gallery-workshop, learn about our artistic work and the traditional cardboard technique and see the elaboration of a piece of Mexican popular art that can be a mask, an alebrije or a catrina.
You will paint a piece step by step with the accompaniment of one of us, you can decorate it to your liking with our guide. We will also tell you the history of the traditions where the use of ritual masks is maintained, about the wonderful day of the dead festival and its meaning and the amazing way in which the alebrijes came to life in our tradition.
We will carry out the activity in our Gallery-workshop IK-KAN
located just a few steps from the entrance to the ZacÍ cenote in the center of the city of Valladolid Yucatán. In this place you will also be able to know the different workshops and activities that we carry out, you will be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere in this city of this space of artistic creation.
